Are you a parent of a toddler or preschooler and know you plan on homeschooling? I created a facebook group titled The West Valley Homeschool Group for Preschoolers & Toddlers. I am hoping we can create a local homeschooling community for young children in the West Valley of Phoenix, AZ.
While homeschooling legally doesn’t start until the age of six in Arizona, it can be hard to wait to build the community that would come with co-ops. In fact, I couldn’t find any co-ops that were meant for children below the age of five! So, I made my own facebook group!
What are the Criteria to Join my Homeschool Facebook Group?
Well, for starters, you need to have children between the ages of 0- 6 years old. You also need to be a citizen somewhere in the West Valley of Arizona. Finally, you just need to be a decent human being. If that sounds like you, feel free to join in the West Valley Homeschool Group for Preschoolers & Toddlers.
It’s not quite a co-op, but it is a play group for children to socialize & interact. During nicer weather, we plan on plenty of park dates, nature hikes & some themed days. While it’s not required, we would love all parents to put a hand in the education of the entire group.
What is my Homeschool Group Mission Statement?
The West Valley Homeschool Group for Preschoolers & Toddlers is a secular play-based group for parents of toddlers, preschoolers & young children in the West Valley of AZ.
✨Collaborative homeschool advice & guidance (we can all learn from one another!)
✨ Would like to be more nature & play based.
✨ Will post events I find throughout the valley, as well.
Admin recently gave birth in April, so this will be a slow-growing season for the group but would still love to cultivate a community for West Valley Homeschooling Families of young children (up to 6 years old).
